Shooting my Sig Sauer P250c, my new duty weapon. I just picked up last week. Ran a few hundred rounds thru it with zero malfunctions. Shot from 5-100yards. I train at least once or twice a week.

  • Please forgive my slang. Yes, the magazine is what I was referring to.

    I've been researching this firearm for months and am looking forward to purchasing my own next month, so it's great to see new positive videos about it.

    The thing is, it had such a rocky start that there are still a ton of people hanging on to the negative and continue to bash the SIG Sauer P250 even though it's finally starting to live up to it's potential.

    I only asked to be sure that I wasn't witnessing an issue.

    Thx

    Yea man, your right about the mag capacities. I believe a group of Gen1 250s where produced and shipped in the early years of production, they where mostly lemons. Im a member of a couple of Sig and P250 online boards, and as far as I can tell, the Gen2 are spot on. The DAO and it's long pull is something to get used to and master. (Continued...)

    I was setup at one of my gunshows a couple weeks ago and was looking to purchase another Duty Weapon for work. Was looking at either a new Beretta 92FS/D/Centurion, Glock 17/19, or Sig P250FS/C. Ended up getting a great price for this P250. Got a Sig Level2 Tactical Duty Holster on order now. Go ahead and get you one, I'd maybe avoid the old early Gen1's, cause they are hit and miss.

  • You have a 12 round clip, noticed that you fired 9 shots and then ejected a round then there was a round showing in the clip also. Did something go wrong?

    Just wondering since there are lots of complaints about FTF or FTE.

  • @RyuSuave

    There is no clip to this weapon. If you are talking about the Magazine, it's not 12, it's factory 15+1. I had a full magazine and just shot some of the rounds off for the video. The FTF/FTE are from the early Gen1 when they first came out, having quality control issues. This is a Gen2 and have had zero malfunctions whatsoever. Thanks for the comment.

  • @RyuSuave Update, picked my P250 .40 cal two tone up yesterday, but won't have time to hit the range till next weekend.

    I'm checking into some holsters now.

    What ammo have you used so far? I've heard some say that the P250 does not like the cheap stuff.

  • Also, didn't notice what caliber you were using. I've only worked with the .40 so I tend to only base my comments on the .40.

    9mm= 15 + 1

    .40 = 12 + 1

    .45 = 9 + 1
