the lt1 motor is a very good motor and can be built up to an lt4 which is a beast 425 hp upgrade i know i had 93 trans am lt4 conversion and it was a high 12 second car with out being fine tuned I raced an ls1 trans am think 98 model and beat it pretty good it had basic bolt ons

@regalgs1 ....why is the LT1 a shit engine? Are you high? 350 LT1 Tune port in the Trans Am GTA is a BEAST. And what makes the 3.4 such a shit engine? Stable and reliable with decent stock power. It's never gonna be a track car or anything but it's a great daily driver. To say the LT1 is a shit motor sounds to me like you've never owned one and are expressing a biased opinion.
