I had the extreme pleasure of getting to see them at least twice back in the 70s. Theirs was the best concerts i have ever gone to. I still love them to this day. Makes me feel young.

hey man thanks for this...... im 32 and i discovered the moody blues when i was about 16 and it changed my view on what music means, and can deliver in feeling and message..... their music takes you to places in mind and body that no other band can...

I've been a Moodies fan since 'Nights" and have been to many concerts with my wife after we were married in 1971. That mellotron sound makes them not only unique but special. Now I have that same sound on my keyboards from a CD sample Mike Pinder did of his mellotron used for many of MB songs.

I've seen them in Amsterdam last two times and in London before that, they seem to be better and better each time. "English sunset" and "December snow" are realy great songs too. Thanx for posting this vid.
