I enjoyed the song and I also love the band but why is it that I never hear about any other brass bands? I wonder if it's just very difficult(more so then other band types) to get professional brass band started.

Yeah it really is but there are a few brass bands that are already established. You may want to check out the Rebirth Brass band and the Dirty Dozen brass band.

i remember when these guys started coming to ny, performing on the subways, it didn't matter how late i was to get to where i was going, i always stopped and waited for them to play this tune. even bought their album, i wonder how far they took their show.
