I am totally convinced that the US should be nicknamed the "Hater Nation".

This lady did NOTHING but thank everybody who helped her, expressed her appreciation for the award, and made sure to comment on matters far more important than her award.

REALLY??! She's hated for this???

I'm not a huge fan of Anne Hathaway to begin with, but this wasn't so bad? she's one of those melodramatic people though and she seems like she's just acting all the time. but hey, who cares!

well, i didn't know that meryl streep was young anymore.......and neither do I or a majority of people find Octavia Spencer very attractive. It isn't about popularity either, The Artist clearly bombed at the box office. True, that the oscars CAN be in favor of popular support sometimes, but you must realize that even the films or actors that are popular can be the ones that are the best of the lot!

is this the speech that everyone is angry about?? i don't see anything wrong with it. i think dumb people are jealous that she is both beautiful and intelligent. how dare a woman be both sexy and articulate!! women can only be one or the other!! she must be an elitist!! man, people need to go get a fucking life.
