  • Ahhhh Paladin,

They just dont make em like they used too

  • Alot of people dont know he was directly related to Daniel Boone, I have the entire series and man do I enjoy watching them, nothing on tv now just crap! The old shows had an underlying theme HONOR, COURAGE, LOYALTY and INTEGRITY, something that hasbeen lost in our new society.

  • @PeridotEyes One other point about liberal Paladin, If you were an Indian, Chinese or a Mexican or a Whitey and were up to illegal stuff.... you were just a commodity that he would cash in, if there was a profit in it. I hope that Darwins "THEORY" isn't considered science. Theory isn't science, in Darwins case it too has become a belief, a religion.

  • @PeridotEyes Thanks for the insight. JFK could be considered a conservative minded person by todays standards. Politics has become a new religion for people. Had to happen when polititions are invited to talk in places of worship and places of worship have become places to vote. How is Jesus voting??? .....

  • @crawfishpolecat

Hate to break it to you, but Paladin was a Liberal. Look at his values: he accepted Indians, Chinese, Mexicans, when all of them were considered to be 2nd class citizens in society. He was a man of science and understood Darwin. He respected religion but didn't insist that a single religious belief was correct.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • @kzdilla oh yea!!!...stand by me!!

  • stand by me brought me here..

  • You guys got it right. All good shows. I still remember well growing up with Hoppy, The Lone Ranger, and a slew of regular movies with Buster Crabb, Lash LaRue, and Gene Autry with a bunch of character actors that we would see for many years on many different shows. Some of the like Carl Akains went from usually a bad guy to a good guy with his own show. They were not bad times to be a child.

  • Only 64 when he died, Richard Boone went much too young. This is another great show I remember fondly from my youth. Back in the 50s and 60s if you couldn't ride a horse and shoot a six gun you just didn't make it on tv.
