@christianecon Here's the problem, much like the lump that was Al Gore, Mr Deeds had nothing and I mean nothing to offer to voters. Yes he had a plan, but that plan was not disseminated one iota to the voters. As a Democrat, it bugs me to no end that they had zero communactions skills and allowed their message to be shaped by McDonnell and friends, all the while pushing solely the negatives on McDonnell. Why would moderates and independents vote for someone who appeared not to have a plan?
