I can make a robot beat that maze too. Just make it turn towards the general direction of the finish and make it drive there in a straight line.

its a part of the Botball robotics competition kit.
Its built out of legos with a few hardware pieces Botball gives the teams. It runs the Interactive C programming language as well.
