Here's a quick tutorial on how to use the backup program built in to Windows XP. This backup assumes you have some sort of external drive to backup to.

  • Why did you blurred out your virtual drives?

  • @iambehindthemirror Ha! I'm not quite sure. I guess it had some server names associated with those drives and I decided that the public didn't need to know those server names.

  • can you back up multiple computers on a network at once to a drive

  • Hi Djwattz06: This is probably not the best tool for backing up multiple computers to a network drive.

    Check out this article, this may make more sense instead of this simple NTbackup tool.

    Look up "ghost computers" in google. This will result in a better solution than NTbackup

  • HELP ME

    i have problems with Mini112011-02.dmp  and sysdata (C:\Documents and Settings\Adrian\Local Settings\Temp\WER99f8.dir00) .... my computer restarts when i play >>Gun<< .. and it says there is an error on that 2 files HELP ME pls ... TY

  • Thank you for posting this. I had been running Dantz, but could not locate my install disk, aso rather than mess with it, I knew you could backup with a Windows utility, but wasn't sure how. Your video helped a lot.
