Joe: *can see the smile on selena's face.* * thinking: gosh, she's beautiful. No, she's mad at me. She'll never give me a chance** smiles to selena*
Selena: *ignores him and looks into nick's eyes*
*the rest of the weeks had been fine for selena. Nick and demi has always been there for her. Joe is having a hard time fighting his feelings for selena. Selena is wondering why Joe hasn't been around for weeks. She noticed that he had been avoiding her. Demi and selena were both surprised that they are enjoying each other's company*
Selena: Demi, nick said that he won't be joining us for lunch coz he thinks joe needs some man talk.
Demi: oh,ok.
Selena: wanna join me?
Demi: sure.*smiles*
Selena: great! *sits on her seat and sees Joe looking depressed. She wants to talk to him but tries to control herself and remembered the bad days with Joe.*
*BELL RINGS*
Class: whoohoo!
Demi: hey,sel. I can't walk with you this afternoon. My mom left some orders for me to do. I have to go to the grocery. Are you gonna be okay?
Selena: yeah, totally. But it won't be the same without you. And wait, you called me sel?
Demi: oh! I'm sorry. Miley has the only right to call you that.
Selena: dems, it's ok. Were BFFs now, right? You've always been there for me. *smiles*
Demi: really? Yes! I'm really glad. *hugs sel* so you're gonna be ok on your way to your house?
Selena: yeah. Besides, I can ask nick to walk me home.
Demi: I think you like him,sel.
Selena: *blushes* no, I dont. But he's cute. Isn't he?
Demi: gotcha. Its official. You like him. *walks away*
Selena: hey! come back here. I'm going to explain.
Demi: no way. *tongue out*
*Selena looks for nick but she saw Joe at the corridor walking with his head down.*
Selena: *breathes deeply* uhmm...hey jerk.
Joe: *looks up* I have a name. *sad face*
Selena: ok...ok. Joe, where's nick?
Joe: I think he already left. He has to do some sort of stuff.
Selena: oh. Ok. This is the first time I'm gonna say this. THANKS.
Joe: I thought you'll never say that.
Selena: u-huh.
Joe: I just wish you can forget the past. I've changed and yet you don't notice it. First impressions arent enough,selena. I've tried a million times to ask for your forgiveness. I guess nothing will change. Anyway, I'll just tell nick you looked for him. Bye. *walks away*
Selena: *feels really guilty* *whispers: "arrghhh...he's killing me" * *watches him walk away*
THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL
Demi: good moring,sel.
Selena: morning,dems. *yawns*
Demi: what's the matter? You look so so so sleepy. Did you even sleep?
Selena: honestly, no.
Demi: what?? C'mon miley told me that youre a techno addict. But please, give it a rest.
Selena: it's not that this time.
Demi: huh? Then what?
Selena: *blushes* uhmm...
Demi: oh c'mon. You kept on thinking about nick?
Selena: shhh. Your shouting out his name.
Demi: so, is he the reason?
Selena: no.
Demi: I don't have any clue. Ok, if you don't want to tell me, it's fine.
Selena: ok. I won't tell you.
Demi: oh, please sel? Tell me. I'm just pretending, you know.
Selena: you're such a drama queen. So, all night I thought about...about...
Demi: c'mon! spill already!
Selena: about...about...JOE.
Demi: *stares at her for a long time* Joe who? You mean joseph? The jerk?
*Joe and nick enters the room*
Selena:*covers demi's mouth* uhmmm, good morning nick.
Demi: *pulls selena's hands* hey joe. *smiles and looks at selena*
Selena: *stomps on demi's feet*
Demi: ouch!
Joe: whats wrong,demi?
Demi: oh,joe. *batting eyelashes to Joe then to Selena*
Selena: oh, that's nothing. You're such a drama queen, dems. *tries to give demi the look*
Demi: yeah,right.
Joe: you girls are really weird.
Nick: tell me about it.
TIME TO GO HOME
*all joe,selena,demi and nick were about to walk home together*
Demi: nick, can you come with me at my sister's school. I have to fetch her.
Nick: uhmm,ok. C'mon selena.
Demi: nick, I said you.
Nick: huh?
Selena: c'mon demi. Can't I come along? Besides we all agreed that were going to walk home together. Promises are promises.
Demi: sel, promises are made to be broken *gave her the look*
Joe: I'll leave you guys there. I'm going home now. Enjoy your babysitting. Ha! *about to walk away*
Demi: *grabs joe's arm* no, joe. You'll walk home with selena. Besides you;re houses are just next to each other,right? *winks*
Joe and selena: no way!
Demi: way! Nick and I have to be going now.*pulls nick and walk away*
Nick: wait.
Demi: .*pulls nick and they walk away*
Selena: demi, you're gonna pay for this!
Demi: *really far from joe and sel and shouting* c'mon sel. You're gonna thank me someday. *smiles*
*Joe and selena stand still and don;t know what to do*
