Just wondering why you didn't go with an 11" motor for a car that size?

Top notch, very coool! Would there be any noticeable efficiency and max range gain by doing away with the tranny & clutch and mounting the motor right onto the differential? What about replacing the axle with hydraulic pump running each rear wheel, to reduce mechanical friction losses for efficiency gain? Seems you ought to be realizing 100-150 mile range with relatively slippery body and top-shelf motor, controller & Lithium batteries. Are you running synthetic tranny & axle oils?

From what I've read and been told these motors will easily outl last the car and will be moved to the next conversion later.

The brushes need to be replaced every 80,000 miles (roughly 130,000km). Other than that you're probably looking at 1 million miles or something crazy.
