Camtasia 7.1 : Import Captions + Sync Captions + "Speech to text " caption feature

In Camtasia 7.1, Speech to Text Caption option has been added by Techsmith. This tutorials covers how to use Import captions option ( in both just text , and in text with timeline) and how to use voice to text caption feature of new Camtasia 7.1 version.

I have one doubt. What were the things written on the notepad used for? and if we have to make the notepad.srp or whatever, do we have to write the time below every caption?
