@psycotria Power tripping police are the same the world over. it would have made no difference where you stood on that building. the people were well away from any danger from the flood. If they were in any danger then nowhere was safe. The police could do nothing about the flood so they just started giving orders, make them feel worthwhile and usefull in a situation where they were worthless.

@psycotria Also if the side of the building eroded with the impact of the wave they didn't want people to fall to there deaths. They are making sure people keep safe.

@psycotria , actually floating cars hit this building and got fire, which caused a dangerous fire. While the tidal wave was flowing back to the sea, the people evacuated the building and moved to another one. The guards worked so hard to save their lives.

After seeing this, my question is, why were everyone told to move away from the edge of the roof? In the US, everyone, including the guards, would have been crowding the edge of the roof in order to get a better view. Did the guards exert power because they could?

@psycotria Tsunami height was about the same building. This is to prevent falls by the impact.

津波発生後、流された車がこの建物にたくさん衝突し引火して火災が発生しました。防火扉を閉めて屋上から消火をしましたが、消火できず危険な状況になり、波が引いている間に別の建物に避難しました。警備員さんは本当に一生懸命に皆の安全の為に頑張って下さいました。全員の命を救ってくれたイベントスタッフ、警備員の方々には本当に感謝しています。

いろいろなご意見があると思いますが、被災者の立場から現在の心境を言わせていただきますと、地震も津波も原発もすべてが現在進行形です。3月11日と同じ大きさの余震が今も続いています。津波警報が夜中に鳴り響いているのです。断水生活の中で放射能に怯えながら、給水所に並んでいるんです。何も終わってないのです。

ここは仙台空港ではなく、仙台新港です。海沿いにある夢メッセ宮城というイベント会場。10mの津波がイベント会場を襲いました。海沿いにある駐車場の車がすべて一瞬にして流れていきました。
