I'm all for hardcore dancing, but all of you saying that this dance isn't raunchy are clearly blind. My proof? Take a look at 1:52, all the way on the right side. You have one girl bent over, legs spread, and another girl grinding her crotch up against her butt. Not exactly as classy as some of you are trying to make it out to be... :]

Love the routine girls!!! So what if it's a little risky. There are worse things going on in high school then a high school cheerleading routine. The dance was amazing and It's nice to see all the girls could actually move and pull off the routine.

@massmayhem9 : So? We are not talking about guys here. We are talking about how adolescent girls like to use sports as an excuse to flaunt their sexuality and get by with it. But you are right; their is a sexual component to that as well. High school boys are just as guilty.

@cewcheer How can short skirts make their splits and jumps better? They can do all that in sweatpants. Girls can play volleyball in sweatpants as well; they don't have to wear tight shorts, but do, because they want to show their butts to a predominately male audience. Ask a volleyball player why she wears tight shorts.

the skirts are short so there spilts and jumps can be better and the tight shorts help them jump faster and they dont drag the floor when a girl does a dig,.....so reserch before u diss

@cewcheer : No, 5-year-olds are not sexual, they are imitating older girls. I got that. Fifty years ago cheerleading skirts were nothing like they are now. Why? Because girls are more sexual. And as for volleyball, what is the purpose of tight shorts? Come on, girls like to show off their butts. Guys don't do that.

girls dont try out for band because band is gay ok? cheerleaders & volleyball players arent trying to be "sexual" they are just doing what they love they cany help that short and tight skirts/shorts are the traditional uniform. and what do u think of the cheerleaders that are like 5 years old yea, so if u look at them as being sexual then there is something wrong in YOUR brain, kay cheerleaders and volleyball players have been doing this sense they were young so itd not sexual

@cewcheer : I never said there was anything wrong with cheerleading or volleyball; I merely pointed out that there is a sexual side to both sports. Cheerleaders wear short skirts and volleyball players wear really tight shorts. Why? You can't deny that girls like to flaunt their stuff in front of a crowd, especially a crowd of boys and men. Why do you think more girls try out for cheerleading and volleyball instead of band? They can be sexual in sports. You can't be sexual in band.
