They're great. You can get these for $20 each at Musician's Friend and they're hot as hell - The cardioid pattern cuts right through the middle, narrow cone. The sensitivity is higher than the SM58, but if you have good vocal skills you want a hotter mic as opposed to the 'user friendly' microphones like the 58 which have a wide cone.

If I buy one, does it come with a microphone stand and/or XLR cable??

do you think this mic would be good for beatboxing ?

Nice mic. I recently purchased one. They seem to be very sturdy and they have a good sound, especially for the low price.

@0000song0000 As we're talking, I am using this Podcast Studio. It's very good, I had to purchase a Pop Filter for the Microphone though.

Does this come with a XLR cable?

@AVClip That obviously depends on where you buy it from...some places might offer a bundle with a cable, others may not. In my case, it didn't come with one.
