*Later*
Demi- *she wipes her tears as she comes out of the school bathroom*
Nick- *turns the corner and sees her, he runs over touching her arm gently* Dems
Demi- *she freezes and looks down* Leave me alone
Nick- Dems we just had some stupid fight please lets not fall out over this!
Demi- I saw you with Hayden
Nick- *sighs* So
Demi- so you cant stay away from the one girl I hate?
Nick- *he looks down*
Demi- and there was me believing you loved me. Its like you want to see me hurt or something. *the tears roll down her cheeks*
Nick- *it breaks his heart to watch her cry. The silence carries on as he looks at the floor wanting it to eat him up*
Demi- *her eyes focus on his perfect curls. She sighs as she has to wipe her own tears. Croaking* I-I guess I dont mean as much to you as I use to
Nick- *he slowly looks up at her* Youve changed Demi and you dont even see it.
Demi- me how?
Nick- Your so worried with everything, you just arent the girl I fell in love with *as soon as the words slipped out his mouth he regretted it* Dems
Demi- *hurt she shakes her head* If I never see you again thats fine with me *she runs out of the school doors*
Nick- *he slams the locker with his foot and runs after her* DEMI!
Demi- *she runs crying locking behind her seeing Nick catching up with her*
Nick- *he grabs her arm lightly stopping her*
Demi- *out of breath she stares at him* You promised to never break my heart
Nick- this is just some stupid fight Dems!
Demi- no *she spat in his face* This is us breaking up *she pulled her arm away* Your free to go fuck Hayden now

*A month later*
Joe- *walks in to the canteen . He looks from Demi and Selena at one table and Nick at the other, he stands there for a few seconds before sighing and sitting with nick* Hey
Nick- *he looks up from his tray and nods*
Joe- *he sighs. It hurts him to see his brother like this and as his eyes darted to Demi she looked happy? How he thought wasnt she breaking as much as nick was and had been for the last month*
Nick- *his head jolted up as he heard Demis familiar laugh. Crap he thought. That was her happy laugh. She had many laughs and he knew them all. His eyes began to water as he looked back down at his tray*

Demi- *she finished laughing and smiled*
Selena- *she looks behind her at Nick and Joe* have you spoke to him yet?
Demi- *she shook her head* and I dont want to. Im moving on Lena
Selena- *she put her fork down and stared at her best friend* Demi you were in love with the guy dont say your not hurting inside!
Demi- *she shrugged* Im over it Lena and Im over him. *she smiled as the tall blonde guy from her English class walked over* Liam hi!
Liam- *he smiled at her* Hey Demi, Selena. Look theres this party tomorrow night you want to come?
Demi- *nods biting her lip* Well be there
Liam- great *he winks before walking away*
Selena- *she shakes her head knowing exactly what Demi was doing*

Nick- *hearing everything he looks at Joe in disbelief*
Joe- were going to that party!
Nick- no were really not
Joe- that Liam guy is bad news! Demi might need you
Nick- why would she need me Joe?
Joe- Liam is lets say forceful when getting girls to sleep with him
Nick- *anger built up inside him* If he even touches her Ill kill him!

*Later*
Demi- *laughing loudly on the phone with Selena*
Nick- *walking into her hallway he smiles slightly at her laugh*
Hayden- NICKY! *she hugs him*
Nick- *hugs her back* hey
Hayden- you going to that party tomorrow?
Nick- *nods yes*
Hayden- great! Let me just grab my bag then we can get going to the mall *she runs upstairs*
Demi- *walks out and freezes as she sees Nick*
Nick- *his eyes lock with hers and he smiles* Hi
Demi- *she looks at him* Hi
Nick- *feeling awkward he scratches the back of his neck*
Demi- *as his shirt lifts up a bit her eyes fall on his toned stomach. She snaps out of it and starts to walk upstairs*
Nick- Dems-
Hayden- *runs down grabbing Nicks hand* Lets go! *she pulls him out the door*
Demi- *slumps down on the stairs as the door closes behind them*



Nick- *he walks next to Hayden his mind fully on Demi. The girl he loves has moved on from him. Nick was willing to fight to her, even if it took her years to forgive him. Alll their past memories flashed about in his mind. But then the big but was there to, but Demi seemed happy without him maybe it was just best he gave up and let her go on with her life without him .*
