installing drawer fronts http://AskWoodMan.com/

In this video I show how to use the Blum drawer front locator insert points to perfectly position the drawer fronts to the drawers and cabinets. I also show how to drill through the locator marks and attach the drawer fronts to the Blum drawer front adjusters. I also show how to use scrap wood and paper to simulate reveal dimensions for proper drawer front placement.

This is video 63 of 64 in the How To Make Plywood Boxes series.

  • Love your hammer!

  • @arboristBlairGlenn That is made by a well known blacksmith from Austin named William Bastas. I also have a 3lb hammer he made. The handles are bois d'arc .I can't wait to spend some time on your channel. Thanks for writing and keep in touch.

  • Did you ever try double-sided tape to do a quick hold and adjustment of the draw fronts to the draws?

  • @smfield I love double stick tape for many applications, but it just does not afford the precise adjustment needed to get drawers really dialed in. Once it sticks it is hard to make it release cleanly and reposition. And if you have a whole bank of many drawers it is a pain with tape.

  • I do the video production work for David Marks. You will find a lot of shorts at my channel from YouTube stuff that I also do for David. I'm currently working on a DVD for him on double bevel marquetry. If that is an interest of yours, it is quite informative and edited in a way that allows you to go to each chapter. Your 64 episode plywood box build project was a huge effort that should help a lot of people. I only watched a few episodes so far and scanned to the ends. Yes, please check.

  • I would call them centering marking gauges.

  • Why, so lumberjocks. com could make advertisement dollars from Woodman?

  • you should post these on lumberjocks . com. its a woodworking website, they would love this series as well your other video's
