  • Small question: I know that na3li3 and nar3 are essentially interchangeable, but are they interchangeable with na3 (which is defined as 'which' is my dictionary)? Example at 5:35.

    Thanks

  • @4545454545asp Which is an adjective, so it's better to say "na3 ge". The neutral tone when following a 3rd tone is higher, and the 3rd tone shouldn't come up. It's like you finish the 3rd tone height with the neutral tone.

謝謝您. Ha excuse the run-of-the-mill response, I've been learning three characters a day for about a month now but 'thank you very much' still eludes me. Great series btw.

  • Dude, your videos need way more hits! They're really great and helpful. In Taiwan now as well, learning some Mandarin little by little. :)
