@britneyc89 Hi Brittany, I have color results from using henna, but its primarily because I have gray hair and have had gray hair since I was 16; so for me Henna works because I am not yet ready to be gray. Henna also shows up on anyone who has lighter hair. It is a depositor and not a lifter because it is naturally deprived from plants, therefore excellent for those looking to cover gray or add vibrancy to their lighter hair by addiding a hint of color. I am doing henna today

Thanks for the video, you have my hair texture and Birthday!!! Im excited to try Henna for the first time this weekend..

IF YOU WANT TO ALTER THE COLOR OF YOUR HAIR, YOU SHOULD HAVE LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 8-12 HOURS SO THAT THE COLOR IN THE HENNA COULD HAVE RELEASED.

aww we have the same birthday! :) yaaaaay!! i'm gonna try this

@CastleRecordz I forgot to mention that the Henna has to be done first and then the indigo afterward. But after using the henna, you have to deep condition, because the Henna acts like a protein.
-
@CastleRecordz Indigo has to be added to the hair like henna for it to be black. You have to do your research and make sure that both the henna and indigo are from reputable places. BAQ quality are pure and is safe to use, the other places you need to do research on.

how long does it last?

@heldylala the only side effects u may experience are 1. reddish tint in ur hair that u can really see in the sun or in direct light, and ur curls may loosen. it only damages ut hair if u do not deep condition afterwards. it acts as a protein treatment and not everyone's hair loves protein, so if ur's doesn't, then it can leave ur hair feeling dry (hence deep conditioning afterwards)

@heldylala henna helps in allowing ur hair to grow. it strengthens it, as well as thickens ur individual strands. it smooths out each of ur hair cuticles making ur hair soft and easier to manage (with multiple uses)
This henna is used for smoothing or moisturizing?

@mohzullo it is used for both and to add a natural red tint if you add an acid based product to the mix like lemon juice.

Just wondering if you know of someone else using henna and it actually putting a color that you can see in their hair. I came across this video while browsing the web and found that you could use henna to color hair instead of chemicals and so far I haven't seen a video of anyone who has had noticeable results. OAN: Omg! We have the same birthday! lol :)

@britneyc89 henna will only show up in light if you have dark hair. Henna does not lift color. It only deposits color. So unless you have light hair and are using henna for a darker tint, then it won't give you the results you want. I hope this helps. And Yay to birthday twins! lol
