Wide-Baseline Stereograms

Stereo pairs captured with very wide baselines (large distance between frames). All were taken with my phone's camera (a Droid 3) in HD video mode, mostly from out of train- (PATCO), airplane, and car windows, although a couple of them were manually walked between locations. In the case of the airplane images some of the stereo pairs are taken from hundreds or even thousands of feet apart, making it possible to discern depth out to many miles.

I enjoy the accentuated depth effect that you get from a wide baseline (superstereo). There are some window violations and blurry images due to moving at high speeds, but these are parts of reality. Unfortunately superstereo doesn't always look good with viewing methods that often have bad ghosting like anaglyphs, and some people may feel uncomfortable with the level of depth in some images. I hope you can find some shots that you enjoy.
