@TheBirdTweedy Thats right. Iv noticed CNN NBC MSNBC are in the libs ass pockett. EX. There was a pro-life demonstration recently(I think New york) and fox was the only station covering. Had it been wall street idiots all these would have been there in force. You mayy not be pro life but thats not the point.Point is these news organizations don have the right to make that call. fox reported wall street protests. @TheMadCrumpet The president can put troops anywhere in the world for a certain time (I think 90 days) and if congress doesnt approve in the specified time they must withdraw. Congress of the time simply wantes a scapegoat for denial of responsibility. Whats unconstitutional is Gov funded health care, bailouts, the national defense authorization act, the SOPA act...all under Obama And the press hardly says a word.

@mropinionful Just because Congress makes the Unconstitutional move for the president doesn't make it any less unconstitutional.. If Bush cared about the Constitution he wouldn't have signed off on it. Both wars were totally illegal and go up against the ideals of the founders who wrote the Constitutiton.

Congress is given the power to declare war. It can't defer that power to the executive branch by telling Bush, "you decide if we go to war or not". The Congress HAS to declare it.

Rather, Congress voted for a resolution in October 2002 which unlawfully transferred to the president the decision-making power of whether to launch a first-strike invasion of Iraq. The United States Constitution vests the awesome power of deciding whether to send the nation into war solely in the United States Congress. We went into Iraq based on a UN Resolution.. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, not the UN.
