Are We the Waiting and St Jimmy are actually supposed to be like one song. Just on two seperate tracks on the CD. I thought it'd be fun to make an AMV with the two songs together.

Been looking for really good amvs set to this song...sorry, but this isn't it. Whole thing seems lazily put together - i.e., all you did was get some random clips and a song and call it an amv. Very little effort was made towards the editing, and what little editing was there didn't even try to match the clips with the lyrics (save for the beginning with the "Starry nights" part).

Best video ever? Not by a long shot. And I've seen many great ones in the past, so don't say IDK what I'm saying.

@Nettacki I'm going to be completely honest. I have not physically watched this video since around the time it was posted in 2007. It's almost 4 years old. Of course, it is going to be crappy. Though, for anyone else who watches it, you do not have to completely disregard their feelings towards it. If they like it, let them. I'm not agreeing with you, I'm not disagreeing. But please don't make it sound as though other people's opinions are stupid and wrong kthnx.

@lovetheonlyone10182 Nothing against you, really. I just don't like it when a video is sloppily made with seemingly little to no care for syncing audio with visuals, yet people hail it as amazing. It leaves me with the impression that most of these people are poorly informed, have dreadfully low standards, and/or simply don't know what they're missing in this medium.

To end this mini-rant, I recommend watching the KH Good Riddance amv as an example of what makes a well made video in my eyes.

Just one more thing though. The only reason why I critiqued the video like that is because I love amvs, not hate them. And having loved and watched them for so long, I've seen many good ones that are wellmade and have so much effort put into making them that it's virtually impossible for me to appreciate anything less than good, if not great.

Here's the story.

The main guy, Jesus of Suburbia, grows tired of the mediocracy of his life in Jingletown. Jesus decides to leave Jingletown and make it to the city. This is where he develops a seperate personality, St. Jimmy. He then falls for some girl he doesn't know the name of known as "Whatsername". They fall in love but she dislikes his lack of idealism and leaves him. Years after, he rids himself of St. Jimmy and returns to Jingletown.

But he never reunited with Whatsername.

we are the waiting is where the jesus of suburbia starts to forget who is, and St. Jimmy is about a guy the jesus of suburbia meets and they become best friends. the way it could be said there connected is after jesus of suburbia forgets who he his he actully turns into saint jimmy

As said by Saint Kay, this is one of the best videos I've ever seen before. The timing was perfect, and the clips matched the music. The only slight annoyance I had with this video was that both songs start in generically the same way, but it didn't bother me enough to give it any less than a five. Good job.
