  • how much did she charge? did u have a tight compression bandage right after surgery?

  • @cubecalirican The cost was $6, 780 (Canadian) and I did/do have to use a binder/compression bandage. It was put on directly after surgery and I am to wear it until about 1 month post-op

  • how did you get away with not having to have drains? that's a pretty sweet deal but i haven't seen that on anyone else before.

  • @clandestine13

It's the way Dr. McLean does double incisions. I didn't really ask the specifics as to why but it's a definite bonus.

  • you look great zac!!!! not having drains whoa... so lucky

  • @CrashOfFate11 Thanks, I was going to ask you the specifics so that I could better clarify the point, but you've already done so for me :)

On that point, the only person who I know had any complications after surgery with McLean had drains.

(McLean uses drains for the keyhole procedure)

  • @CrashOfFate11 That's awesome! Thanks for the info.

  • Hey bro looks great.

The reason McClean doesn't use drains is because he sews the top layer of tissue to the muscle so that there literally isn't anywhere for fluid to build up. I had surgery with him in July and had zero complications. I was off of pain meds 2 days after surgery. By not using drains and doing it this way, healing takes half the time because the body isn't fighting against the invasiveness of drains.
