I tried out the beta platformer level, and one thing I have to say is that you need to have some kind of "crouch" movement now - unlike FPS mode, you cannot swim down with the current key binding. (I know you said crouch movement/hitbox can be implemented later, and that I agree)
I suppose this can also be employed in a "top-down" 2D game, right? In any case, I think we can definitely make some kind of "genre-shift" for side missions (I think people know which game I am alluding to)

Of course you are. JS isn't neccesary for map-making, it just opens up the variety of games people can make maps for..

We aren't really in competition with them
They have there way of doing things we have ours
Besides they seem to target a specific age group that our JS scripting might prove to difficult
