Stygian (Mellotron)

A gloomy piece of half music, half *musique concrete*. The sounds tell a story, but I'm not about to let on exactly what that story is. You might want to make your own mind up about that.

What you hear on this is a different mix from that which appears on 'Basilica'.

Mike - Fabulous piece! Made me feel like we're wandering thru the local asylum with no way out, until we GET out, and realize the outside is just as dark & crazy! Love the tolling bell, the (Prophet 5?) "helicopter" synth, voices... all the layering... and of course the Mellotrons! Are the zithers, etc. on the 'Tron? I did a piece for Halloween yrs ago, not totally unlike this, synths & Mellotron - NO one came to our door for candy! Kudos for the Creeps! Cheers! ~ Berington, L.A.
