This song is exactly what started going through my head while I was watching the inauguration this morning. I actually started mouthing it to myself while watching his speech!
Although it would be a stretch to compare Peron and Obama politically, both are similar in the amount of populism and attempts to be seen as saviors of the downtrodden masses in times of darkness (although, if you know much about Latin American History, this is not exactly anything new or innovative).

I remember that by the time of this movie release I was not interested in it at all. Some years after that I watched Evita in DVD. I LOVED IT! Awesome movie.

I'm Argentinian and know about Eva more than many people, alright? Madonna's performance was excellent in terms of realism, maybe not dramatic shit but she really got in Eva's skin.
That's my humble vision.
