just went to the #17 retirement night for brind'amour. that was without a doubt one of those memories i will remember perfectly for the rest of my life. it also helps that we took down philly in a great game.

i am from philadelphia and always loved brind'amour he was a great leader and was an even better person i would see him after every game and he was so nice! i miss seeing you everygame brindy :'(

Im a die hard flyers fan, grew up in the 90's and Brind'amour was always my favorite player. Once he became a Cane id pull for carolina just because you guys had Brindie. By far my favorite athlete of all time, and one of the greatest team players of all time. Thanks for the tribute.

ROD BRIND'AMOUR IS THE GREATEST CAROLINA HURRICANE OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!! no matter if he gets passed in points goals or anything, he's the greatest for the impact he left for hockey right here in North Carolina!!! LETS GO HURRICANES!!!!!!!!!

@1more4carhur yeah! he is the best. ron francis was good for the pens but didn't really make an impact for the canes. brind'amour got them a cup!
