Knowledge Defense Force - World Skills Edition (XNA)

Here is a video of a game we just completed for SAIT Polytechnic named, Knowledge Defense Force (KDF). This game was developed for the World Skills 2009 event and features solid two player game play. Designed and built using Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.1, KDF saw well over 25k visitor plays throughout the week of the World Skills Competition. I was very impressed with how well XNA stood up to the sheer amount of players over that week and further solidifies my commitment to use XNA in future game development projects.

I recommend sooner (obviously). XNA is a great framework to express yourself without the need to worry about dirty under-workings and device control.

The game in this video was ported to XNA from the previous OpenGL version of the game. The port took about 4/5 days of coding including some bug fixes and a last minute scene change.

XNA is great!
