Union Pacific GP38-2 (#576) and a pair of GP40-2 (#1370, #1451) are switching some loaded freight cars at the east end of Roseville Yard, in front of the Amtrak station platform. Like old times, the GP units notch up high, and they speed along into the yard, faster than what I usually see here.

Note the remnants of the SP light package on the GP38-2 #576 - evidence that it used to be the SP #4813. The GP40-2's still retain most of their original colors, except for the official graffiti (patching) and an unofficial one on the #1451.

This, SD60M, and SD70ACe WP Heritage Unit actions occured all within a 15 minute time span, on two main tracks.
