@Pepston It's not really that it phases you that much, flashbangs really aren't that bad. They're just loud. But they're really really distracting and scare you enough that you don't really have time to respond to something else going on, unless you're used to it.

I remember when that happened. That dickhead screwed up traffic for hours. My friends and I were at a bar a few miles away, and we were just waiting for the SWAT team to beat the shit out of him. Luckily, no one was hurt.
