Karen and Richard (The Carpenters) were on the television show "This Is Your Life" in 1971. Still very early in their lives and career, which was rare because many of the people that would get this honor were in their later years. But all the better for us huge Carpenters fans! Karen (whom I think is the most beautiful, most loveliest and most talented woman that ever lived) is looking stunning as always. I don't think that she wiped her gorgeous smile off of her face once! Richard is looking real handsome too, as he always does. Karen and Richard very much loved being apart of this. Richard said that his only complaint was that his mother would embarrass the hell out of them. Haha!
The ending, though, always makes me cry. It just reminds me that the great times are over and that very gorgeous, very lovely, and very talented woman is not here to enchant us anymore. But atleast we are still enchanted with what her and Richard have given to us.

I hope Karen Carpenter 's soul is in a place where she can see how many people truly loved her, and will never forget her influence on our lives.

Karen looks so pretty, and it makes me sometimes wish that I had been born when she was still living.
