Medical student Pooja Chitgopekar becomes Miss India Earth

Pooja Chitgopekar, a medical student from New Zealand wore the crown of Miss India Earth this year. She left her medical studies and came to India to participate in the contest. "I think the most difficult part for me was to take a break from studies and come to India. I am in my 4th yr of MBBS. Even when I arrived here I was thinking if I should be here or not. But once I realized I was a finalist, it was all a go ahead from there" says the beautiful Miss India Earth.

Her performance was consistent throughout the competition. She also won the 'Miss Perfect 10' and 'Sexy Legs' Sub Contests of Miss India.
