Series 1 - American Girl - Blythe Doll Smores

Video 1 - How To Make Smores

The fist video in my series of how to make Amreican Girl and other 18 inch doll food. Editing is a bit rough as I did go over the time limit and had to cut unimportant parts out. Also, as with most polymer clay, when you are finish making your project, bake in a 275 degree oven for at least 10 minutes depending on the thickness of your project. Hope you guys have as much fun making these as I do.

Please visit www.celticwhim.com or

Thanks for watching!

  • what scale do you use for AG food?

  • @carebear575 AG dolls are 1:3 scale. This video is old and the smores I make now are 1:3 scale. The smores in this video are very big for AG dolls, but they are still made in the same way, just make the squares smaller to fit in the doll's hand. :)

  • No, I don't think so. The reason TLS works is because it is made from the clay so it binds the clay together when heated. I am not even sure what Elmer's would do if if got that hot?

  • i meant one what kind of glue was used in this video and how much does it coast

  • I used TLS to "glue" the items together. It is not really glue, but it is for clay. The full name is Translusent Liquid Sculpy. It is a liquid form of Sculpy clay. It comes in a small or large bottle, the small bottle usually runs around $6 and the large around $12. It can be found in the clay isle. Hope that helps.

  • Umm exactly what kind of craft store do you go to?

  • I only have on craft store in my small town and that is Ben Franklin's. But if you live in a larger town there are many more choices, like Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn's. Or if all else fails you can just order online.
