the way i see it, the case is pulling a trailer, meaning the weight its hauling isn't on the driving wheels, and not adding traction.
the mack had all of its weight and the weight of the load on the drive wheels, greatly increasing traction.

From the days when the phrase "Built Like A Mack Truck" still meant something.
IMHO, there's not another rear suspension that can take the abuse that Mack's "camelback" suspension can.

The R600 Mack- the best heavy truck ever built.
I assumed it was a 237 because I couldn't hear any of the "Tip Turbine Fan" whine on the audio. Is the air to air on this truck mounted on the radiator?
285 or 300 hp, 1080 lb. ft @ 2100 RPM, phenominal in 1973, still d@mn good numbers nearly 4 decades later.

nice job although with a little practice you could get a lot smoother on the landings and that starting away in (highgear?) is not easy either

Bout one if the dumbest damn things ive seen done to a truck yet , Stick a dump body on their that fits the truck , Ive drove many overloaded dumps and never brought the front end that far off the ground , If i would have i would have been looking for my next pay check , I have rolled over while dumping due to a idiot on a end loader that couldnt comperhend what level ground was

You sir have never had the fun and challenge of emtying sand from the bottum of a "liquid" manure pit. I rode a wheelie like that damn near every load.. without trouble. I bought that truck set up the way it is. with no time to stretch the frame where it belongs. Had to run it like that!!
