  • Do the men only wear a tallit?? If not how might I find one??

  • @BillnTimm men and women can wear tallit :-) you can find them online or at any judaica store that's worth a darn. just search for "judaica store" or "tallis for sale"

  • Shalom!

I was asking this to myself:

Am I allowed - according to halacha rules - to pray even though I'm not yet jewish?

I know, for instance, that I'm supposed NOT to pray when visiting the synagoge-service, because I'm still goyish..

  • @heartbreakerGeorge Let's ask Michael! He's the scholarly one... mind if we make a video answering these questions? But generally speaking (within the orthodox movement) you're not allowed to completely fulfill shabbat (you have to do something to violate shabbat when you celebrate it) and you aren't counted in a minyan...as far as I know, you can still pray, but you won't make up "the ten". I'm going to hit you up via messaging in a bit. Thanks! -Patrick

tallit is a mans garment.. It is not meant for women to wear. Although I know some women wear tallit, so do some men wear dresses, but its not considered normal.
