@BAM1Music That loin cloth he was wearing didn't exactly have pockets .. did it (LOL)? It implies that the relationship between Caravaggio & Ranuccio is strictly based on money .. until he offers the last piece of gold in his mouth, daring him to get that intimate with him.

Never mind the coins, could someone please explain the whole thing? Why does half the characters behave like they're mentally challenged? What's up with all the intentional anachronisms? Why has Caravaggio been upgraded from his usual sword wielding, foul tempered, pederast self to this reasonably decent, poetry spurting cowboy version? And why did they think it would be a good idea to process all the paintings through some sort of expressionist tumbledryer before allowing them onto the set?

Could someone please explain the whole coins in Sean's mouth thing? I'm not quite sure that I understand. Thank you! :)

I've watched this once and I didn't understand it, but I just thought of the coin part again and had to watch it. Love that part!

I´m a horsekeeper - GREAT HORSE!
... Two of the scenes in this part are my favourite ones in tehe entire movie. The first being the one with the horse and the red flag, the other one being the "almost kiss" between Caravaggio and Ranuccio...#
I really think the movie is great. It is almost as sensual as Caravaggio's works.

@HogwartsCastle
Sorry, but have to disagree lol. Hottest Sean Bean moment of all time would have to be 6:50-7:00! =D
