I KNEW there was a SKYCYCLE !!!

@cranie4 lol yeah I had those cars that had the pieces that would fly off when they hit each other. I also had the Evel Knievel chopper you see in the above video.... god I used to love those toys lol :)

cool..when does it come out?

I had that lame dragster. The parachute never worked right. I rectified it later with the "Team America" bikes, but it wasn't the same.

I wanted this so bad, but got the Evel Knievel shirt instead. Thanks Dad.
-
haha I love the ending

As I recall, the basic cycle really hauled ass. I seem to remember it tearing down the alley in my neighborhood.

That skybike made me laugh!
Great toy.

Me and my mate Gary got one for xmas in the 70s, Of we went out side with our new bikes, we decided to race them on the pavement out side the house we wouund them up so hard we nearly skint our knuckles then BAM of they went. Mine went straight out and fast......Garys went to the side and straight under a passing car and crushed, Sadly Gary never seen the funny side as I did :)

Ah, memories. Little EK wasnt broken in until the wires in his arms and legs were busted up, just like the man himself. I also had the Robbie Knievel figure.
I used to love these. I had another kind of toy like this called..hmm..SSP? It has a pull strip and you would point the vehicles at each other and parts would fly off them when they crashed..so cool.

Check out my other toy commercial videos, I have 3 or 4 SSPs, including the Smash-up Derby you are thinking of.

My brother and I had the stunt bike also, good times. Christmas present without a doubt.
I had something with a pull or zip strip also, 1975-76. It didn't have parts that would fly off though. I was about 8-9 years old and I remember it had a single wheel (pull strip) on the rear. Shaped to a point on front and rather heavy (at least to me) and the rear wheel was maybe 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide and had black rubber.

Sounds like The Black Widow SSP. Check my vids, there is 2 or 3 commercials for it.
