The Destruction of the Masterpieces

I created this video as a tribute to my horses past, and present. The black Thoroughbred is a 'Secretariat' grandson, the bay TB is a 'Seattle Slew' son, the Quarterhorse gelding is an 'Impressive' son and the mares are a 'Dash for Cash' daughter and granddaughter. The stills from the slaughterhouses were taken by the Humane Farming Association. All of my horses are rescues. @Irina, this film has gotten a lot of views over the years, and it still sickens me to watch it. Callie, Mamie, Bullwinkle and Sahlih are long gone. Bullwinkle and Sahlih escaped the pasture, were hit by cars and died. They were inseparable so they are buried together with their noses touching. Only saving grace is the music...

Indeed. If people were more responsible, we would not have this problem. It is already illegal anyway and has been since 1958!!! It makes me angry, so angry.

thats true that they banned it in the US but it doesnt mean everyone is listening to it, there are small/private slaughter houses in the US without us knowing and not saying that i have any idea where they are but there is and there are horses still being transported accross the boarders in double decker trailers with us just thinking their cattle. so even tho they banned it in the US the fight isn't over!

Horse slaughter has NOT been banned in the US. There are still slaughterhouses in Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina where they slaughter them at sea, and Florida. The legislation must be passed for it to be banned.

This is a very disturbing video, but necesary. Thankfully, horse slaughter has been banned in the US, we are working on banning it throughout Canada and Mexico.

Horse slaughter and exports of horses for slaughter has NOT been banned in the United States. The bills are slowly working their way though Congress. There are slaughterhouses that kill for zoos, the three foreign owned plants were shut down by Court actions, not legislative actions.

Horse is probably one of the most beautiful animals on earth and they are very smart too, and this is so sad they are mistreated this way by cold hearted people. I adore horses and I always wanted I could have one. Thank you for sharing this video with me <3

i am starting a stop horse slaughter campaign if anyone wants to join send me a message please help its amazing that some people don't even care when horse slaughters are killing animals that are defenseless and have never harmed a person on purpose

For every cold hearted worthless pile of cow dung who has ever supported and or worked in or with a horse slaughter house I sincerely hope lest you find repentance with almighty God himself that each and every one of you sorry,

For the wrong in horse slaughter, it doesnt say much for the people who work for that industry !!!! what kind of low lifes are they? there is no exscuse for means of working in that industry. you have to know how wrong it is. over breeding makes for the lucrative part of that. awful just awful.
