@matthias66 the caracara2's Byrd hole is smaller than the caracara1's. I personally like it only because it's great for doing the spyder drop. The round Spyder hole just slips around my fingertips.

nice dude... hear in Australia personal knifes are illegal, I see them as a tool as well but if you get caught with one you cold end up with a small jail sentence here. but maybe il get one for camping anyway...

The Byrd Cara Cara 2 is an awesome knife overall. My only complaint about it is that bloody Byrd hole. It really digs into your thumb and is difficult to open up quickly. The Spyder hole is a circle, and it works well with your thumb because of the circle, and your thumb moving in a somewhat circular motion. I'd give it a 8/10 just because of the Byrd Hole.
Great review. Where did you find it for that price? Every place I've found online seems to have them for around $30 with shipping.

Nice vid thanks. Received my Cara Cara 2 today! After careful examination I am very pleased with it so far. The fit & finish is very good, not quite up to spyderco standards, but good for the price.
