This album has always taken it under the chin with music critics & fans alike. I always liked it as an experimental work & the fact that the band was so distracted with other issues in '67 that they managed to produce anything by years end. The North African influence is there & cool to hear. I still have my original 3-D cover in excellent condition. While the cover may be Pepperesque. The music is unique & different from anything produced that year. A solid warmup for Beggar's Banquet!

@66clearlight the only flaw to the song, admittedly. You have checked your bass controls I presume.

This is so rad. The Stones they are nothing without Brian Jones.

The Lantern...always love Charlie's sound!

@DanielJoseDiego - I know the Stones' albums, and, I wasn't talking about you or myself, I was talking about non-Stones' lovers! The average radio-listener knows no more about the Stones than "Satisfaction," and "She's So Cold." Unlike yourself and I, this album is "FORGOTTEN" to to most!
Calm down, Francis! :)

naive as it may be it's still a masterpiece of my adolescence.....cause their satanic majesties ordered so.....
Awesome!!!! The Stones have always been there for us form the 60's, 70's 80's 80's and still now. A treasure underappreciated by the masses, but to those who "get it" they will always be the greatest rock and roll band in the world.
