Showtime Presentation and MPAA rating marker, mid-1980's. Seems to me they make the PG rating sound harsher than it is. Oh, and as you can hear, they cribbed the Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited", as it meshed with their "Excitement" promotion.

  • Which movie was it?

  • He does kind of make it seem harsh, though it's actually an accurate representation of the rating. I think for television, they simply wanted to emphasis what the rating really means.

  • thank you so much who evere put this on here brings back so many memories for me

  • @BrightWave forsure the girls put out too,,today there all stuck cunts that wont even talk to u

  • 80s was the best classic shit

  • Excellent video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SHOWTIME plus The Pointer Sisters equals a rockin deal in the mid 1980s but I wish they used the same bumper shown here for today's movies like Indiana Jones 4.

  • I noticed it too.

  • no, this intro started in 1985,the 84 intro had the Hollywood backround and spotlights.

  • That was no cribbed version. The theme was made cooler for the exclusive presentation.
