I have been diagnosed with the disorder and have occasional flare-ups....but so far haven't needed to make use of plaquinal, steroids, immunosuppresent, or even constant use of eye dropsetc..In fact I don't even need to use eye drops unless I have a flare-up..I may have just lucked out..or the "anti-inflammatory" protocol I typically follow may actually be limiting severity and frequency of symptoms and flare-ups.
upperroomwellness (dot com) I have dry eyes too, fibro, and celiac disease. God bless!

I thank you so much for sharing. The information you provided was right on point. I've was recently diagnosed with having Sjogren's Syndrome almost a year now, but had the symptoms of the disease for close to 30. This was due to misdiagnosis. Please continue to share this information with others and I'll keep you in my prayers.

Rebamipide (Mucosta) is a drug that has been in clinical use in Japan and other Asian countries for almost 20 years and is used for the treatment of gastritis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach) and gastric ulcers. Previous studies have shown that rebamipide exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and can also stimulate saliva production in an animal (rat) model of Sjogren's
