I think she does a great job, idk why people are saying Batten sucks. The fancy clothing is due to Michael's style. If you watch Beat it live with EVH he doesn't even play it right, he's just drunk =p

Jennifer Batten is an amazing guitarist, Michael asked her to dress like that, its a really tough solo to play alone, and then wearing that and playing in total darkness!!!! that takes some SERIOUS SKILL!!!

Jennifer Batten played the Beat It solo at the Bad Tour, Dangerous Tour and History Tour. This one at the Dangerous Tour is my favorite! When I saw her playing this guitar solo for the first time I sat there with an open mouth and wide open eyes xD Jennifer looks so crazy with all the lights, the huge horns on her head and the flashing guitar! I was so fascinated :)

Jennifer did a great job! She's really a very good guitarist! ♥
