PeteyXJ99 and I take a short day hike through Palisades Kepler State Park, near Mount Vernon, Iowa. The trail is set along the Cedar River and atop 200 foot limestone cliffs which line the river. Follow along with us as we explore the area. I estimate we hiked about 4 miles in 2 hours. We took lots of breaks to check out the scenery and check side trails. Many rock climbers and rappelling enthusiasts also use the park for it's tall limestone cliffs. We took a break atop one of the cliffs over looking the river and got to watch some big turtles swimming in the river and saw a Bald Eagle soaring the area, they are known to nest along the cliffs near the river.

I apologize for the crappy video quality, my camera isn't the best
