@AdamKNAC I found that to be true as well, not only from online research and forum chat, but from 1st hand experience. All the LED's used on that car were color matched to the lens that it would be shining through. The other important component is the quality and brightness of the LED's used. The cheap Ebay LED's aren't always the best, which is evident when compared against higher quality LED's from a dedicated supplier.

I was reading somewhere that on a website that is dedicated to selling automotive LED lighting that for best results the color of the bulb should match that of the lens,like a red-colored bulb for a red lens, amber-colored bulb for an amber lens, because if the color does not match like white light for example on a red lens, the lens will filter out all the light expect for the red part, if they both the light and lens are the same color then they cause it to appear much brighter.

@pilot92193 I installed one already and it took care of the fast blink. It never really bothered me, but i had to switch when i installed LED's all the way around.

get an led compatible flasher. thatll fix the high rate of flash problem

@rce2win @UBETTERPRAiZEHiM011 Those white LEDs are nice. In case you want a cheaper method (rce2win, I love your method, too), AutoZone sells LED stick-on strips. Their white one is rather bright, and if you can find the right one, they're also trimmable.

@rce2win Okay thanks
Looks cool, but worthless.
You can hardly see the turn signals, and this video is, like most, done at night. People convincing themselves the lights are bright.
Look at valuable day time videos. They show the truth. Or do some research and educate yourself, cheap LED's are way lower in intensity than regular bulbs. Of course you can buy the expensive ones, but who would pay $60 for just 2 1157 bulbs?

@RMasters2007 You are correct...in some aspects. When this video was shot, the rear turn signals consisted of (10) 5mm amber LED's on each side, but i was still running standard filament bulbs in the stock location. With your vast knowledge of LED's, i'm sure you know a full LED system requires an electronic relay. I hadn't done that yet, so yes, the turns look dim compared to the full LED brake lights. I had no visibility issues once the brighter amber LED turn signal bulbs were installed.

@UBETTERPRAiZEHiM011
License plate light is custom. It's a series of white LED's mounted through a 1/2" thick piece of plexi that mounts using the existing holes in the rear bumper cover. Pretty sure there are pics of it up on my Cardomain site.

nice mods, next thing you need to do if you haven't done so by now, get some load resistors for the turn signals, one for each side (1 left side of car and 1 right side of car) that way you won't have that super fast blink like a bulb is out

@dsummers2006 Thanks, got it handled. Actually, i'm running an electronic turn signal relay from TMI that takes care of the issue. I didn't mind the fast blink, but i had to swap the relay once i started running LED's all around.
