Froyo STILL isn't released to the Galaxy S for US customers, at least on AT&T ostensibly for testing. 8 months of testing is absurd. Perhaps a complication is insuring that AT&T customers don't get some features free that AT&T wants to charge for.

@FunnyPlace1 Not true. U.S. carriers had a finished froyo long before it was released (confirmed by T-Mobile engineers that had the update running on their phones). Samsung told them not to release the OTA. SPECULATION was because they were releasing the Vibrant 4G with Froyo and they didn't want to cut into new phone sales. Whatever their reason, a class action lawsuit was filed and 2 weeks later they released the update through Kies instead of OTA.

@690Max069 What are you talking about? Samsung updated international version months ago. U.S. probably got a very late update because of the carriers not because of Samsung.
