Hundreds of protesters clashed with riot police across central Athens on Wednesday, smashing cars and hurling gasoline bombs during a nationwide labour protest against the government's latest austerity measures. The former Minister for Development Kostis Hatzidakis was attacked by protesters outside a luxury hotel. He was escorted, bleeding from the scene as his attackers yelled "thieves" at him.

  • @JizzonTheDark

not towards usury but money changers (theifing exchange currency merchants)

  • This is just the begining-greece now, The rest of Europe next. Looks like the people have had enough of the corupt powers that run the governments- about time too.

  • @glynbo68

    perhaps

I have a video that examines movments in the past within EU countries

The collapse will probably limited but significant to Greece and Ireland; if Germany pulls out of supporting the Euro then then it may cause this or escolate the situation

  • @Dilekz how about the people? how about ever single person taking responsibility for themselves? or would you rather be babied the rest for your life? this whole idea that we need to have SOMEONE with all the power is retarded.

  • @gibblets17 So you think we should give that power to bankers? hmm?

Who has to have that power ?? That is the big question.

  • Strange... we don't see these images in The Netherlands. And we are part of the EU..

I hope the Greece will get up and fight for democracy. All the leaders are nuts. You should get your drachme back en step out of the EU. This is the best for Greece. But the EU wants to get power over Greece... Im sick of the whole EU thing... wish we could go back in time :(

  • this is why socialism sucks. government is not good enough and or honest enough to give that much power.

  • Coming soon to a neighborhood near you !!!

  • by the way...you don't have to burn the banks....all you have to do is stop borrowing money, and stop putting money into savings accounts. Buy commodities; gold, silver, copper, rhodium, oil, natural gas, etc...
