I believe they were Jose Carlos Romero Vedia (Carlinho)'s students. Jose Carlos takes his young students to Florida/Lavalle, Buenos Aires in the early summer evenings to give them performance practice and to earn a few pesos. Here, they have migrated to La Boca.
