MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Fox 13 has found the house of Donna Lee Wray, the widow of Jerry Kane and stepmother to Joe Kane. The same house where the two accused cop killers spent their last three months...

Many neighbors had assumed Joe and Jerry were friends from the Church Of Scientology, just there to help clean up the house. They say Wray is or was a scientologist...


The following are her exact words.

"The information that we're getting is there were federal snipers, that Jerry and Joe didn't kill anybody," said Wray. "We have reports from people who've seen video from Russia that shows that Jerry and Joe and the officers were fired upon by federal snipers."

Reporter Lauren Lee asked, "So why do you think that federal snipers would be, were they after Jerry and Joe."

Wray replied with, "Jerry was very dangerous because he was helping people to get, to complete their contracts, the agreement they had with their mortgages and deeds, deeds of trust. And he's helped people with almost 200."

Her Ex and his son brief backstory.

Jerry and Joe Kane lived in the Cincinnati area and maintained ties despite moving to Florida in recent years. West Memphis police say they pulled over a white minivan, which Lee confirms as belonging to Jerry Kane, on a typical traffic stop. Two officers were shot and killed and the local sheriff and his chief deputy were wounded in a later shootout.

Forty-five-year-old Jerry Kane and his 16-year-old son Joe were "on their way back to their home in Florida," according to Jerry Kane's business website, where someone has posted a Clearwater address for contributions toward their funeral.

The I-Team has received several tips that Jerry and Joe Kane were the two suspects in the shootings.
