Skyler Blakeslee, 2010 Experimental College Gardens Manager, and Sandrine Matiasek, EC Garden Member, share on their experiences at the EC Gardens.

For just $35 a year, you can rent you're very own 10X20 plot. Land, water, tools, mulch, manure, and gardening advice are included with your plot rental.

Here are some perks of gardening at the EC Community Gardens:

You get free gardening advice from the EC Garden Managers and other gardeners.
You get to garden in an area that already have an established wealth of biodiversity, which attract beneficial insects and in turn helps your own plants prosper. The EC Gardens have been around for over 40 years!
You get access to shared tools and more.
It gives you the opportunity to keep your garden even if you move from house to house, as many students do, during your time in Davis.
After one year, you can have chickens!
You get access to many medicinal herbs and fruit trees, including figs, mulberries, and pomegranates.
To learn more an sign up, you can visit the Experimental College Gardens website at: http://ecollege.ucdavis.edu/index.cfm?page=Pubs&Pub_id=102

Or email the EC Garden Coordinator Directly at ecgarden@ucdavis.edu
